Chetwood joins First Citizens Bank as Manager of Commercial Banking in Columbia, S.C.

Holt Chetwood has joined First Citizens Bank as manager of commercial banking for the Columbia, S.C., market. He leads First Citizens’ commercial banking team in the area and is responsible for developing and managing relationships with local companies in the community. He is based out of the First Citizens Center at 1230 Main Street in downtown Columbia.

Prior to joining First Citizens, Chetwood served as Midlands market president and commercial banking manager at Wells Fargo for the past 11 years. He brings experience leading and developing high-performing sales teams and driving innovation, process improvement and business strategy.

A Clemson graduate with a bachelor’s degree in business management, Chetwood is active in the Columbia community. He currently serves as a board member for the Greater Columbia Chamber of Commerce, United Way of the Midlands, Columbia Urban League, South Carolina Bankers Association and Palmetto Baseball League, among numerous other community leadership roles.
