Children’s Museum of the Lowcountry to host Rebel Girls Celebration

March 8, 2019

The Children’s Museum of the Lowcountry will host the second annual Rebel Girls Celebration to coincide with Women’s History Month. Inspired by the book “Goodnight Stories for Rebel Girls,” this event will feature notable women in history, and some of Charleston’s own inspiring women. Children will meet and participate in activities with each “Rebel Girl” motivating them to see themselves as capable, creative and full of promise.

“At the Children’s Museum of the Lowcountry, we strive to host special events that engage young children’s potential by sparking their imagination and stimulating their curiosity,” says Nichole Myles, executive director of the museum. “This event will not only be fun for children, but it will inspire them with stories of extraordinary women from all over the globe.”
