Christmas for Kids Applications Still Open — Don’t Miss the Deadline
November 18, 2025There’s still time for Laurens County families to sign up for the annual Christmas for Kids program, an initiative of the Laurens County Sheriff’s Office that ensures local children experience the joy and excitement of Christmas morning.
Applications are currently being accepted, and families are encouraged to complete the process as soon as possible. The deadline to finalize all requirements—including scheduling an interview—is Wednesday, November 26. If you’ve already submitted your application, now is the time to call and set your interview appointment.
The Sheriff’s Office understands that life can bring unexpected challenges, especially during the holiday season. That’s why Santa’s helpers remain on standby for true emergencies that may arise after the cutoff date. Families facing unforeseen circumstances are encouraged to reach out.
Community support helps make this program possible year after year. Monetary donations and new, unwrapped toys are accepted throughout the entire year and may be dropped off at the Laurens County Sheriff’s Office during normal business hours. These gifts help ensure deputies can continue bringing Christmas cheer to families who need it most.
By working together as a community, we can make sure every child in Laurens County wakes up to a Christmas morning filled with joy, hope, and memories worth cherishing.
