Christophe Artisan Chocolatier Expands Downtown Shop at New Location
November 23, 2011CHARLESTON, SC – November 22, 2011 – Christophe Artisan Chocolatier will relocate their chocolate shop from 363 1/2 King Street to 90 Society Street. The larger space will allow Christophe to expand their product offerings of handpainted chocolates, macarons and desserts to include French pastries, croissants and French press coffee.
Owners Christophe and Carly Paume will open the new location December 1.
After the holidays, further menu options will include a grab and go dining experience for breakfast, lunch and dinner. In France, it’s common to pick up a baguette, some delicious butter or a selection of ripe cheeses on the go, and that’s your breakfast, that’s your lunch. We want to create the same experience for Charleston, said Carly Paume.
Planned hours are from 7:30 AM to 7:30 PM daily. There will be seating for 15-20 inside the new shop, and an additional dozen in the courtyard.
The Paumes also have a store in I’On Village in Mt. Pleasant at 357 N. Shelmore Blvd.
