Cindy Jacobs with LCSD 56 to Present at National Conference

Cindy Jacobs, Director of Child Nutrition for Laurens County School District 56 will be a speaker at the School Nutrition Association’s Annual National Conference which will be held in Orlando, Florida, July 10-12, 2022.
“It is such an honor to be asked to present at the National Conference,” said Jacobs. “Laurens 56 is always looking for effective ways to communicate with parents, students and community. Social media is a platform we have found to be very effective in reaching a wider audience in a timely manner.”
The course she will present with two other industry leaders is titled, “Boost Engagement, But Not Your Bottom Line….with Social Media Advertising.” The presentation will include best practices for using social media platforms to maximize reach of messaging with minimal impact to budget. Attendees of the session will also learn how to create social media ads and the strategy behind social media advertising, so that messaging is as effective as possible.
In addition to being active at the national level Jacobs is currently serving as the President for the South Carolina School Nutrition Association. She has worked with District 56 for 33 years and always with a focus on nutrition and the student.
