City Center Partnership announces election of new officers and board members for 2018

City Center Partnership announced it has elected the following officers for a one-year term. The election took place at CCP’s 16th annual meeting.

Lee Mashburn (pictured) of Mashburn Construction – Chairman
John Griggs of NBSC – Vice Chairman
Donald R. Tomlin of Tomlin and Company – Treasurer
Lauren Smith of Holder Properties – Secretary

The CCP Board also appointed new members to the Board of Directors. New board members include Sam Johnson of Nexsen Pruet, Rita Patel, owner of Hotel Trundle, and Sharon Bryant of First Citizens Bank.

These three individuals will join the 33-member board in overseeing the organization’s mission — to focus on filling vacancies in commercial properties, retaining existing downtown businesses and recruiting new ones, expanding the downtown residential base, and creating a safe, clean, and friendly environment in the Main Street District.
