City of Charleston launches ‘Operation Move-Out’ to reduce downtown clutter
July 31, 2025The City of Charleston’s annual Operation Move-Out initiative will take place from July 31 through August 5, 2025 (with no work scheduled for Sunday, August 3), as students and tenants transition in and out of downtown rental properties.

In addition, property managers are encouraged to utilize dumpsters on Milford Street to minimize the volume of curbside debris.
By following these simple steps, residents and property managers can help ensure downtown Charleston remains clean and welcoming for all.
