City of Clinton to Host Juneteenth ‘Unity in the CommUnity’ Festival

The City of Clinton recently announced the upcoming Juneteenth ‘Unity in the CommUnity’ Festival, a celebration for the community, scheduled for Saturday, June 22, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

Mayor Randy Randall expresses his enthusiasm for this event, stating: “The Juneteenth ‘Unity in the CommUnity’ Festival is a wonderful opportunity for our city to come together, celebrate our diversity, and honor the significance of Juneteenth. I encourage everyone to join us for a day filled with joy, unity, and community spirit.”

This event brings together individuals and organizations from all walks of life to commemorate Juneteenth and celebrate unity. To ensure a diverse and engaging festival, the City of Clinton is inviting sororities, fraternities, churches, other community organizations, and talented groups to participate.

Call for Vendors and Participants

Festival organizers are currently accepting applications from food trucks and retail vendors interested in showcasing their offerings. Additionally, community groups and talent organizations are encouraged to join in the festivities. Space is limited, so early registration is advised.

To secure a spot, interested parties are requested to submit their applications by 5:00 PM on May 21, 2024. Please email your application to [email protected] with “Juneteenth Festival” in the subject line. Include the following details in your email:
