Grand opening of The Lash Café – March 26

The City of Columbia Office of Business Opportunities, in partnership with Richland County, celebrated the grand opening of The Lash Café with a ribbon-cutting ceremony held this morning, Thursday, March 26.
Local leaders including Tina Herbert and Paul Livingston joined community members to welcome the new self-care destination to North Main Street.
Founded by Lisa Shelton, The Lash Café offers a relaxing, spa-like environment designed for clients seeking a break from their daily routines. The business specializes in lash enhancements, skincare services, hair removal, and newly added hair care offerings, all provided by licensed estheticians and cosmetologists.
Shelton began her journey while working as a hospice aide in Charleston before relocating to Columbia. In 2020, she opened her business in a single-room suite. Continued growth in both services and clientele has since allowed her to expand and operate full-time.
The Lash Café is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
