Clark Earns Rare MAI Appraisal Designation
October 13, 2009COLUMBIA, SC – October 8, 2009 – Brantley Clark of Integra Realty Resources – S.C. was awarded the MAI (Member Appraisal Institute) designation Friday, October 2, becoming one of a handful of appraisers younger than 30 years old in South Carolina to hold that prestigious title and one of just 92 MAIs in South Carolina. She was honored during the October 2 meeting of the South Carolina Chapter of the Appraisal Institute.

To earn the MAI designation, appraisers must complete an extensive 380-hour graduate-level curriculum punctuated with a two-day comprehensive exam and a demonstration appraisal report. MAI designees must also log more than 4,500 hours of strictly scrutinized professional experience and pledge to uphold the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) and the Appraisal Institute’s Standards of Professional Practice and Code of Ethics.
Clark is a senior analyst in the Integra Realty Resources, which was named the #1 Appraiser and Valuation Firm for 2009 by Commercial Property News.
