Clinical Paints Develops Safe Paint for Hospitals

March 22, 2012

SPARTANBURG, SC – March 22, 2012 – Clinical Paints, an industry leading supplier of non-toxic paints, has announced its new range of products specifically designed to address the patient safety needs of the healthcare industry.

Traditional paints have been shown by the EPA to give off harmful chemicals. These are measured and accepted as if there was no alternative – despite known health consequences. In medical facilities, such as maternity, ICU and neonatal, this exposure represents an unnecessary patient risk. Clinical Paints gives hospitals the opportunity to address this issue, by using a safe paint.

Clinical Paints also offers an Air Purifying Paint, which contains a molecular sieve that absorbs and permanently neutralizes common indoor pollutants such as formaldehyde.

Using a proprietary technology, Clinical Paints products are uniquely formulated to contain no toxins, or solvents and not to give off gasses. The result is a paint that can do no harm to patients.

Unlike other safe paints on the market, Clinical Paints is not simply a watered down, traditional product with reduced levels of toxins and off gasses sufficient to meet minimal industry standards. Nor are Clinical Paints simply environmentally friendly ingredients that don’t work as paint. Clinical Paints are premium paints, in terms of color, coverage and durability, without health compromises.

Over the course of the last twenty years we have developed the widest collection of safe paints and coatings in the industry, said Julian Crawford, Clinical Paints’ CEO. Today we offer hospitals a safe alternative. A toxin and solvent free paint, designed specifically to protect the health of patients and providers. In a medical facility, safety should always come first.
