Clinton Art Gallery Launches Shop Local Art Raffle to Support Downtown Businesses
December 3, 2025With the Christmas season in full swing, the Clinton Art Gallery is doing its part to uplift local businesses and encourage holiday shopping close to home. In a creative twist on the shop-local movement, the gallery has announced a special Shop Local Art Raffle, giving residents a chance to win an original 11×14” oil landscape by local artist Jeannie Browning—simply by supporting participating Clinton businesses.
The concept is simple: shoppers make a purchase at one of the listed local retailers or restaurants and bring in a same-day receipt to the Clinton Art Gallery. Each receipt earns an entry into the raffle. The winner will be drawn and announced at 3 p.m. on Saturday, December 20 at the gallery.
This initiative reflects a growing trend across Laurens County, where shops, makers, and nonprofits are teaming up to strengthen the local economy and celebrate small businesses during the holiday rush. As highlighted in previous Buzz coverage, many retailers are seeing the impact of intentional local spending—and the gallery’s raffle adds an artistic incentive to keep that momentum going.

“Art and local businesses both thrive when people invest in their own community,” she said. “I’m grateful to be part of something that encourages folks to support their neighbors this season.”
The Clinton Art Gallery encourages everyone to stop by with their same-day receipts and enter the drawing.
“When our community shops local, everyone benefits,” the gallery shared. “This raffle is our way of celebrating local businesses, local artists, and the spirit of giving that makes this time of year so special.”
Residents are encouraged to shop, enjoy all that Clinton businesses have to offer, and drop by the gallery for a chance to take home a beautiful piece of local art—while supporting neighbors and businesses that keep the community thriving.
