Clinton Girls Fall in Upstate Tennis Finals

Clinton High School advanced to the Upstate finals of the Class 3A girls’ tennis playoffs, but its Region 3 nemesis, Chapman, won by a score of 4-2.All three of the Red Devils’ losses came at the hands of the Panthers, who also defeated Clinton in the Upstate finals in 2019. All three of Clinton’s losses this season were against Chapman.

As in the case of a pair of regular-season losses, the match was close. Clinton won at No. 4 singles and No. 2 doubles. Chapman won both the regular season matches by scores of 4-3.
