Clinton Jr. Tennis Players Compete in Several Tournaments

Nathan Meade played in the SAC Jr Classic in Spartanburg this weekend. He played singles and doubles matches on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. He won his first singles match, and then won his quarterfinals match by beating the number 1 seed, but he lost in the semifinals. He won the 3/4 playoffs 6-0, 6-0 to finish in 3rd place in the boys 14U. Nathan and his partner from Lexington, SC won the boys 14U doubles division with match scores of 8-0 and 8-2!

Connor Donley played in an ITA event at Wake Forest this weekend, as part of the ITA Summer Circuit. He made it to the quarterfinals, which was quite impressive considering the competition in his draw! This was Connor’s second ITA event this summer.

MC Dailey and Erin Donley both played the Lander ITA event with Connor last weekend. MC made it to the consolation semifinals after winning her quarterfinal match 6-2, 7-5. Unfortunately, the weather didn’t cooperate, and the crew had to withdraw so they could attend camps elsewhere in SC.
