Corey Fountain’s 3rd Clinton football team won 11 games and advanced to the 3rd round of the Class 3A playoffs, but there, in Central, the Red Devils ran into a brick wall defended by snarling Lions. Daniel, reigning state champion, easily dispatched Clinton by a score 52-7.
