Clinton Surveying and Mapping Utility Mapping Project Begins June 1

The City of Clinton will begin the Surveying and Mapping Utility Mapping Project with SAM, LLC on June 1.
The project will include locating electric poles, pad mounts, junction boxes, and other utility features with global positioning system (GPS) equipment. The project will be ongoing from June to September.
According to the city, SAM employees will be working in neighborhoods and may occasionally need access into and through private property via easements the city has to perform the work. Service will not be interrupted during this process.
