Clinton’s Watts Surpasses 1,000 Points

Clinton High School held its Senior Night early in deference to the threat of COVID-19 spread, and Tuesday night’s basketball games against Ninety Six were noteworthy for the achievement of senior De’Shanti Watts, who surpassed the 1,000-point mark in a 47-29 victory.
Watts, who led the Red Devils to a Region 3-3A championship and into the third round of the playoffs.
Clinton swept the games as the boys’ team defeated the Wildcats 75-33.
