Coakley joins Lexington One

LEXINGTON, SC – At a special board meeting/board budget workshop of the Lexington County School District One Board of Trustees held on April 29, 2014, the board approved the hire of Kelly Coakley for the open position of Communications Coordinator in the District Office.
Kelly Coakley has 15 years of professional experience.
In 1999, she began her career as an assignment editor assistant at WLKY TV in Louisville, Kentucky, and joined WDRB TV in Louisville as a reporter and assignment editor in 2000.
In 2003, she moved to WYFF TV in Greenville, South Carolina, where she served as producer, reporter and anchor/reporter. She then moved to WIS TV in Columbia as an anchor in 2011 and joined the South Carolina Department of Agriculture as Public Information Director in 2012.
She received a Bachelor of Arts in Radio and Television with a minor in Political Science from Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas.
She is a member of the Communication Directors of State Departments of Agriculture.
