Coffee with a Cop: LPD and LCSO Team Up to Connect with the Community

Laurens residents will have an opportunity to engage with local law enforcement in a relaxed setting during Coffee with a Cop on Friday, March 21, from 8:00 to 9:30 a.m. at Whiteford’s, located at 212 Hillcrest Dr. in Laurens.

The Laurens Police Department (LPD) and the Laurens County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) are joining forces for this community-focused event, aiming to foster open conversations and strengthen relationships between officers and the people they serve.

Coffee with a Cop provides a welcoming environment where residents can discuss concerns, ask questions, or simply get to know the men and women dedicated to keeping Laurens safe—all over a cup of coffee. There are no speeches or agendas, just an opportunity for genuine, face-to-face conversations.

The event is part of an ongoing effort to build trust and collaboration within the community. Everyone is invited to stop by, say hello, and enjoy a cup of coffee with local law enforcement.
