Students from the College of Charleston School of Business’ Microfinance Club are hosting free finance classes to help community members better plan for their future.

Business students with a passion for finance teach the courses, held Wednesdays from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. starting February 22 through April 26, alongside finance professor and associate dean of the business school, Jocelyn Evans, Ph.D.

Topics for individual seminar sessions include budgeting, saving for retirement, establishing and improving credit, investing in the stock market and more.

The complimentary courses will take place in Room 132 of the business school’s Tate Center, located on 6 Liberty Street in downtown Charleston.
