Colliers announces Real Estate Management Services and Accounting new hires

Colliers | South Carolina announces new hires in its Real Estate Management Services (REMS) and Accounting departments.

Jackie Chapman is the Property Manager of Synergy Business Park, one of the most highly regarded office parks in Columbia. She has over 18 years of leadership and customer service experience that serves her well in this role leading a team of building engineers and an assistant property manager. Prior to joining Colliers, she worked as a property manager for multiple site locations throughout Columbia. She enjoys volunteering at nursing homes and youth court. Chapman holds a South Carolina property manager’s license.

Brandi Martino is a Property Manager, responsible for overseeing the financial and physical operations of several office properties in Columbia. She began her 20-year career in property management in Durham, NC and later moved to South Carolina where she worked as a leasing consultant and a property manager before joining Colliers. Martino graduated from Western Piedmont Community College with an Associate of Arts degree and an Associate of Science degree and holds a South Carolina property management license.

Joanna Switzer is a Property Administrator, supporting the property managers in REMS operations and maintenance areas including the preparation of contracts, reports and tenant communications. She has spent over 20 years in the commercial architectural, engineering, construction and facilities maintenance industries. She graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Design. Switzer is a Palladium Member of Historic Columbia.

Kathy Waddell is a Lease and Property Administrator, supporting Colliers | South Carolina’s growing property management portfolio. She is responsible for abstracting and interpreting leases, compiling reports and preparing reconciliations. Waddell has 30 years of experience working in the administrative arena for various commercial real estate companies, a law firm and a recruiting firm. She graduated from the Stuart School of Business Administration in Wall, NJ under the Legal Secretarial Curriculum.

Alicia Scott and Brigette Walters have been hired as Property Accountants, responsible for providing detailed financial reporting for commercial real estate holdings managed by Colliers | South Carolina. Additionally, they consult with property owners and investors on accounting matters to assist them in realizing the maximum value of their investments.

Scott has over a decade of accounting experience in various industries including banking, property management, medical and engineering and she also worked for an accounting firm that specialized in small business and franchise bookkeeping. Scott graduated from Lander University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in accounting.

Walters has a diverse accounting background in the restaurant, nonprofit and construction industries. In her most recent role, she was an administrative operations manager for a utility protection company where she managed accounting staff, compiled quarterly reports for the board of directors and prepared annual budgets. She holds an Associate of Science degree in Business Accounting from Kaplan University. Additionally, Walters holds an American Management Assocation® Women’s Leadership Certification.
