Colliers brings historic 911 Lady Street to full occupancy

Mary Winter Teaster and Sydney Lanham of Colliers | South Carolina represented the landlord, Rosie Craig, CEO of R. MacFarlane Craig Historic Properties, in the leasing of 911 Lady Street in downtown Columbia, bringing the building to full occupancy.

Most recently, Open House Yoga leased a full suite and offers Vinyasa Flow classes set to R&B and rap music, combining yoga principles with strength training in a creative, high-energy environment.

In addition, Gilbane Building Company was welcomed to the building and is a global, family-owned leader in construction and real estate development with more than 150 years of experience.

Teaster and Lanham previously represented Craig in securing other tenants in the building to include Barry Johnson/State Farm, Extra Mile Consulting and Mackey Realty.

Located in Columbia’s Vista District, 911 Lady Street was built in 1920 and originally served as a warehouse. It has since been converted into a modern, multi-tenant, multipurpose building that retains its historic character. The project is part of the broader effort to revitalize the Vista, blending Columbia’s industrial past with its urban future.

Rosie Craig, a key figure in the area’s transformation, has been instrumental in revitalizing Downtown Columbia for over 30 years. She is responsible for repurposing over 700,000 square feet of historic properties and has been honored with two Historic Columbia awards, the Foundation Leadership Award and the Adaptive Reuse Award, for her preservation work. Additionally, she is a founding member (1982), current board member and multi-term president of the Congaree Vista Guild.
