Colliers International adds new tenant, Pilot Freight Services, to Carolina Industrial Properties portfolio

Global transportation and logistics company leases space at Timmonsville facility to service GE Healthcare as a result of the recent expansion announcement.

GE Healthcare’s announcement in March 2017 that it was expanding its existing magnet resonance imaging (MRI) components production operations in Florence County in South Carolina with a $40 million investment has already had a ripple effect across South Carolina. Now Pilot Freight Services, a full-service global transportation and logistics company, has signed a lease at 100 Perfection Way in Timmonsville, SC, right outside of Florence, to service GE Healthcare as a result of the expansion.

The lease is another victory for the landlord, Reger Holdings, LLC, and Carolina Industrial Properties, a portfolio of well-located vacant buildings across the state of South Carolina renovated by Reger Holdings to meet the needs of modern manufacturing in a cost efficient and flexible manner. Colliers International’s Chuck Salley, SIOR, Dave Mathews, SIOR and Thomas Beard are Reger Holdings’ brokerage team for the 6 million-square-foot portfolio, assisting the investment company in selecting sites to add to the portfolio and identifying high-quality tenants for each space. They represented Reger in the lease to Pilot Freight Services, which claimed 73,720 square feet of the building’s 180,000-square-foot total.
