Colliers International brings new tenants to the renovated Northlake Village shopping center in Lexington
December 5, 2018After undergoing a full renovation, an influx of new tenants continues
Colliers International’s J.P. Scurry, CCIM, Scottie Smith and Paige Bryant represented the landlord in leasing retail space located at 929 North Lake Drive in Lexington.
“Health and wellness tenants continue to enhance the retail/lifestyle experience of real estate holdings, whether that be in reinvigorating older shopping centers or as an enticing co-tenant within new vertical projects,” said Paige Bryant, Brokerage Associate. “We were thrilled to assist RockBox, a new Charlotte-based fitness concept, in finding the perfect location for their growing business. RockBox is an exciting concept that will be a perfect fit for both the newly renovated Northlake Village, as well as the surrounding population.”

Northlake Village is a 30,000-square-foot shopping center positioned in the heart of Lexington County that has undergone a full renovation. In November 2017, Charlotte-based development firm Stanchion Asset Partners purchased the property and immediately implemented a redevelopment strategy. The extensive renovations include the replacement of the shopping center façade, new landscape/hardscape and a complete renovation of the Regal movie theatre, now the most modern theatre in the Columbia market. Retail space remains available in the center.
In addition to a successful leasing effort by the Colliers’ brokerage team, the landlord awarded Colliers Real Estate Management Services (REMS) division the property management assignment of the newly renovated shopping center.
Scurry, a Vice President of Colliers International | South Carolina; Smith, a Senior Brokerage Associate; and Bryant, a Brokerage Associate, are members of the Colliers International Retail Services Team and have successfully leased and sold a number of properties in Columbia and across the Southeast on behalf of owners and buyers/tenants.
