Colliers International brokers represent the landlord and tenant in the leasing of office space to United Community Bank at 1901 Main Street

Colliers International | South Carolina’s Allen Wilkerson represented the landlord, AgFirst Farm Credit Bank, and Craig Waites represented the tenant United Community Bank, in leasing office space at 1901 Main Street in downtown Columbia.

United Community Bank, headquartered in Blairsville, Georgia, entered the South Carolina market in 2012 and now has 147 offices in South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia and Tennessee. After assembling its Midlands leadership team earlier this year and shopping for a permanent Columbia location, United Community Bank chose 5,193 square feet at 1901 Main Street as its new home in central South Carolina.

1901 Main Street is a ±303,156-square-foot, Class A, LEED-Gold-Certified office tower located in Columbia’s Central Business District. The building is in close proximity to state and federal courthouses, the University of South Carolina, the growing Main Street and North Main Street corridors, the Bull Street District, the Vista Arts & Entertainment District and more.

He specializes in site selection, land brokerage and the sale of retail/owner-occupied properties, having completed over 325 transactions with a cumulative value in excess of $250 million. Allen Wilkerson is a Senior Brokerage Associate with Colliers International | South Carolina and a member of the office brokerage team. He specializes in corporate consulting services, office leasing and acquisitions.
