Colliers International facilitates sale of industrial warehouse and acreage to G&W Equipment, Inc.

Seller will offer improvements to the property to help support new ownership’s business growth

Colliers International’s Chuck Salley, SIOR, Dave Mathews, SIOR and Sam Myers represented the seller, Dougherty Properties, LLC, in the sale of an industrial property at 115 Windhill Road in Columbia, SC to G&W Equipment, Inc. The property, which includes a 20,000 square-foot industrial building on 2.56 acres of land, sold for $725,000.

G&W is a heavy manufacturing and warehouse equipment dealer. Locally owned and operated since 1963, G&W is the authorized forklift dealer for CAT, Mitsubishi and Jungheinrich for both North and South Carolina. G&W has seven locations throughout the Carolinas. This purchase represents an expansion for G&W in Columbia, doubling the size of its current location at 3004 Charleston Highway which the Colliers team sold G&W in 2012.
