Colliers Mortgage continues its expansion in Charleston with Vice President Stu Thomas

Colliers continues its expansion of services offered to clients in South Carolina.
Charleston, SC, July 28, 2022 – Stu Thomas, an experienced commercial real estate finance specialist, has joined Colliers Mortgage as Vice President. Thomas is located in the firm’s Charleston office. In his role, Thomas specializes in arranging commercial mortgage loans with an emphasis on debt and equity placement for clients. Colliers’ primary funding sources are insurance companies, commercial banks, debt funds, private equity, CMBS lenders, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and FHA/HUD.

Thomas brings over 13 years of commercial real estate experience to his new role. Prior to joining Colliers, he was a Vice President with other financial institutions where he closed over $500 million in commercial real estate financing transactions across various property types. Prior to his banking career, Thomas oversaw acquisitions and management for a Nashville-based multifamily developer and served as Vice President of Leasing and Sales with Transwestern in Washington, D.C.
