Colliers represents McIntosh Cottage Antiques in purchase of Columbia warehouse

Mary Winter Teaster and Sydney Lanham of Colliers | South Carolina represented McIntosh Cottage Antiques in the purchase of a 10,000-square-foot warehouse in Columbia.
McIntosh Cottage Antiques was founded in 1985 and is a family business run by the father-daughter team of Keith Fortson and Elizabeth Sheehan, specializing in a curated collection of English and French antiques.
The Colliers team previously represented McIntosh Cottage in the purchase of its store, a 1,400-square-foot building at 714 Beltline Boulevard, in May 2021, and in the lease of a 2,000-square-foot warehouse in Downtown Columbia in May 2022, which it has since outgrown. McIntosh will use its new warehouse for storage of imported goods and distribution to its network of clients.
“We’re thrilled for the amazing welcome we have had in Columbia, and this warehouse is a huge step for us,” said Sheehan. “With the addition of the warehouse, we hope to expand our offerings both to our Columbia clients and our clients around the U.S. who shop with us through our website. It really is an exciting new chapter!”
