Colliers | South Carolina and LCK announce 2024 company awards

Colliers | South Carolina and LCK presented 2024 company awards at its annual Awards Celebration on February 26, 2025.
The 2024 ONE Colliers Award was presented to Diane Salane, Executive Assistant in the company’s Columbia office. The award recognizes staff members who demonstrate a love for the community, exemplify the Colliers brand and have the desire to grow and improve. The ONE Colliers Award recipient embodies and promotes Colliers’ six core values of integrity, service, collaboration, fun, expertise and community to both the company and in our communities to play a role in unifying the Colliers team as ONE.
“Diane exemplifies the core values of Colliers through her commitment to excellence and community,” said Craig Waites, Columbia Market President for Colliers | South Carolina. “Over the 46 years she has been with Colliers, her deep expertise has positioned her as an indispensable resource. Diane embodies collaboration by building bridges across departments of brokerage, accounting, marketing and research, reinforcing the foundation of our ‘ONE Colliers’ culture.”
The Service Excellence Award was presented to Joanna Switzer, Property Administrator in the Real Estate Management Services (REMS) division in the Columbia office. The award recognizes a team or an individual that delivers services of outstanding quality, creativity, geographic reach and unique collaboration, and inspires others to provide the same level of superior service to our clients. This team or individual makes the most of their expertise and resources to solve complex challenges while creating memorable and successful outcomes for their clients and colleagues.
“Joanna exemplifies exceptional organizational skills, effective time management, and a consistently helpful demeanor,” said Kim Butler, Senior Vice President of Real Estate Management Services for Colliers | South Carolina. “She navigates an extraordinary workload with remarkable ease and proficiency, while also demonstrating a keen ability to identify efficiencies. Joanna’s ongoing contributions include thoughtful recommendations to streamline processes.”
The first Innovation Award was presented to Cooper Belle, Amy Fowler and Chris Hock of Colliers’ marketing department. The award recognizes forward-thinking actions by an individual or group of individuals that have resulted in meaningful advancements in thinking, processes or outcomes.
“These three team members obtained their drone licenses in 2024, capturing stunning aerial images of over 80 properties last year to enhance our property marketing materials and social media content across the state,” said Liz McCary, Vice President of Marketing for Colliers | South Carolina. “Their work has not only received praise from clients but has also delivered a tangible impact on the visibility and marketability of our projects.”
The second Innovation Award was presented to Ron Anderson, Vice President of Research and Information Technology, and Kathy Waddell, Property Administrator.
“Ron and Kathy recognized the need for a more efficient way to manage vast amounts of data across multiple departments,” said David Lockwood, Executive Vice President and COO of Colliers | South Carolina. “They created a database for the REMS department, and this tool has improved efficiency and strengthened collaboration across departments, providing insights and visibility that were previously out of reach. Their work has transformed how we handle data, setting a new standard for operational excellence.”
The Rising Star Award recognizes team members who have been with the company less than three years. Recipients have excelled in their position and in service to clients, exhibit the core values of the company, are active in the community in which they work and live, and continue to enhance their position by striving to learn more through educational opportunities.
