Colliers | South Carolina announces a milestone of 16 million square feet of commercial property under management

Colliers | South Carolina recently announced that its real estate management portfolio of office, industrial, retail and medical properties now exceeds 16 million square feet across the state.
Colliers’ Real Estate Management Services (REMS) division, led by Debbie Lane, Senior Vice President, experienced unprecedented growth in its managed portfolio during 2020 and continues to be the largest manager of commercial real estate properties in South Carolina.

“We are thrilled to announce the achievement of this milestone which has exceeded our goals across South Carolina,” said Lane. “Our success is due in tremendous part to our clients, an increasing demand for professional management of industrial investment properties and solid collaboration between our brokerage, project management and property management teams in each of our four offices.”
In 2020, the firm expanded its management service offerings to 13 new clients within the REMS portfolio, adding 54 properties that account for 9.2 million square feet of space. This additional square footage represents approximately 13% of Colliers Internationals’ REMS portfolio growth across the entire United States in 2020.

Among Colliers | South Carolina’s managed properties, approximately 9.5 million square feet are in central South Carolina, 4.1 million in the Greenville-Spartanburg area and 2.5 million in greater Charleston. Across the state, the portfolio consists of 10.7 million square feet of industrial, 4.2 million square feet of office and 1.2 million square feet of retail properties.
