Collins & Lacy, P.C. Elects Ellen Adams as Managing Partner

COLUMBIA, SC – September 6, 2011 – Collins & Lacy, P.C. announced Ellen M. Adams has been elected managing partner of the statewide business defense lawfirm. As managing partner, Adams joins an elite group. Only 15 percentof managing partners in law firms across the country are women,according to the American Bar Association (ABA). Adams, whose 20 year career at Collins & Lacy has involvedmore than 1,000 cases, was elected by her peers to lead the firm.
Adams is a native of Cayce, S.C. She received her Juris Doctor from theUniversity of South Carolina School of Law. She has argued cases to theFull Workers’ Compensation Commission, Circuit Court, Court of Appealsand Supreme Court. She has been repeatedly named one of the Best Lawyersin America©.
