Collins & Lacy, P.C. Multimedia Strategist to Chair Columbia Chapter of International Legal Marketing Organization
January 4, 2017Collins & Lacy, P.C. announced Paula Williamson, Multimedia Strategist at the firm, will be the 2017 Chair for the Legal Marketing Association Southeastern Chapter’s (LMASE) Columbia Steering Committee, starting in January. LMA is considered to be the authority for legal marketing, and for more than 25 years, it has served the needs of legal marketing and business development professionals at all stages of their career and from firms of all sizes.
Comprised of member volunteers, the Local Steering Committees are designed to drive the overall mission of the organization through monthly programs, membership initiatives, and networking opportunities. Committee chairs are appointed by the sitting chapter chair and serve for one calendar year.
“Being part of LMA has helped me to not only learn and improve my skills as a legal marketer, but it also keeps me connected to people within this industry,” said Williamson. “I’ve had such great opportunities to grow professionally and personally through LMA, and I’m truly thankful Collins & Lacy sees the benefit of being part of such an organization.”
Prior to joining Collins & Lacy, Williamson worked as a marketing assistant for a large national law firm based in Columbia where she assisted in developing, managing and maintaining multimedia materials for clients. Williamson has also worked as a video producer, and she was a photojournalist for the Columbia-based NBC affiliate WIS News 10.
