Colonial Life Names Eight to Leadership Roles

COLUMBIA, SC — Colonial Life has named eight individuals to leadership roles on its Columbia campus.

Amir Abdullah has been named director, sales compensation design and sales planning. He will be responsible for developing financial management and business strategies for the company’s sales compensation and incentive programs. Abdullah is a recent graduate of the company’s professional development program.

Lauren Albright has been named director, human resources business partner. She is responsible for developing HR strategies that help the company achieve its business goals. Albright has worked for the company for almost 10 years.

Steve Hesler was named assistant vice president, product development. He joined Colonial Life in 2012 and will be responsible for the company’s accident and hospital confinement product lines.

Joey Johnson was named director, market development.  He joined the company in 2010 and will be responsible for developing marketing plans to support Colonial Life’s growth.

Steven Johnson was named vice president, product development. In his new role, he will assume responsibility for strategy development and management of the company’s full product portfolio. Johnson has worked for Colonial Life since 2004.

Capri Lewis was named director, accident and health underwriting. She is responsible for leading the company’s accident and health underwriting policy team. Lewis has worked with Colonial Life since 1981.

Marion Pariag was named assistant vice president, underwriting. He is responsible for managing the company’s group underwriting team. Pariag joined Colonial Life in 2011.

Jason Zier was named director, underwriting systems and centralized support. He will lead the systems and shared services team responsible for supporting the company’s underwriting operations. Zier has worked at Colonial Life since 2002.
