Columbia Chamber Announces Two New Hires

Chamber Welcomes Alexa Stillwell and Chris Timmers

COLUMBIA, SC – The Columbia Chamber is pleased to announce the addition of Alexa Stillwell as director of events and partner investments and Chris Timmers as new partner development executive. Stillwell will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing all events for the Columbia Chamber, as well as assisting partners in achieving their marketing goals through alignment with Columbia Chamber program and events. Timmers will join the new partner development department and assist with partner recruitment and orientation, as well as partner retention.

Stillwell carries more than 10 years of event management experience to the position, most recently serving with the South Carolina Chamber of Commerce. She is a graduate of the University of South Carolina. A veteran of the United States military, Timmers worked in business development for more than two decades. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree at the U.S. Military Academy in West Point, N.Y.
