Columbia Chamber Seeks Applications for Signature Leadership Program

Leadership Columbia Applications Due Tuesday, May 26, 2015

 

COLUMBIA, SC – Leadership Columbia (LC), the premier program for emerging and existing leaders sponsored by the Columbia Chamber, is currently accepting applications from dynamic and talented professionals for the 2015-2016 class. Selected candidates will comprise the 43rd class of the LC program.

Combined application and interview scores will determine the class of approximately 60 participants. The selection criteria includes civic involvement, leadership potential, diversity of perspective and commitment to the leadership program and the community. Applications are due on Tuesday, May 26Applicant interviews are scheduled to begin on Wednesday, May 27.

Participants will engage in a 10-month curriculum including monthly class day sessions, a class retreat, a class project and other enrichment activities. Since its inception in 1973, Leadership Columbia has celebrated more than 1,600 graduates.
