The City Manager’s Spotlight provides details about what is happening in the City of Columbia in an effort to keep citizens informed about City operations. July At-Large Open House

WHO: Councilwoman Tameika Isaac Devine and Councilman Howard Duvall, Jr.

WHAT: Citizens are encouraged to make an appointment to meet with Councilwoman Tameika Isaac Devine and Councilman Howard Duvall, who both represents the at-large seats on City Council.

WHEN: Wednesday, July 11, 2018; from 5 – 7 p.m.

WHERE: City Hall, 1737 Main St., Columbia, SC 29201

16-21 July, 2018

Animal Services’ Dog & Cat Days of Summer Adoption Special

The Dog Days of Summer are here and to kick it off, Columbia Animal Services will like to celebrate by hosting an Adoption Special July 16–21, 2018. All cats and dogs will be available for adoption with a fee of $20. This adoption fee includes spay/neuter, micro-chip, Feline Leukemia/Heartworm Test, initial vaccines and deworming.

Board of Zoning Appeals

The Board of Zoning Appeals meeting will take place on July 10, 2018, at 10 a.m. in the City Council Chambers at City Hall.

 

Design and Development Review Commission 

The Design and Development Review Commission meeting will take place on July 12, 2018, at 4 p.m. in the City Council Chambers at City Hall

 

City Council Meeting

On July 17, 2018 City Council will hold work session starting at 2:00 p.m. and a City Council Meeting at 6:00 p.m., in the City Council Chambers.

 

Planning Commission

On July 9, 2018 the Planning Commission will hold a meeting starting at 5:15 p.m. in City Council Chambers at City Hall

 

BPAC

On July 16, 2018 the monthly Bike Pedestrian Advisory Committee meeting will take place from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Main Richland Public Library, 1431 Assembly St., in Room 213.
