“It’s an honor and pleasure to be here with our friends from the Columbia Empowerment Zone, Inc. and all of the great work they have been doing to continue to bring energy and unleash the power in North Columbia,” said Mayor Steve Benjamin. “It’s that much more special to be here with our friends from the Finklin Pharmacy for decades thousands of Columbians, countless mentees and pharmacists in training have benefited from the incredible services and the professionalism of Leon Finklin and his family. Being able to play a role in the next phase of this wonderful family-owned businesses growth is so important to me and I know it also means so much to my friends Councilman Sam Davis and Councilwoman Tameika Isaac Devine and all of us here at the City of Columbia.”

“We have been here for 30 years and we needed more space because we outgrew the space that we had. What we wanted to do is provide more services to residents in the North Columbia business area that are not being provided already. We are a part of the hospital connection to provide outpatient services as needed, we are employ about 4 people and we’re going to have more coming on in a part-time role to help us grow the business. We are proud to be here in the North Columbia Plaza with the City of Columbia.” said Leon Finklin, owner of Finklin Pharmacy.
