Columbia Heart’s Dr. Senn hits major milestone as the first midlands physician to implant 20 WATCHMAN devices

The Arrhythmia Center at Columbia Heart Clinic announced that Dr. Senn is the first physician in Columbia, SC to implant 20 WATCHMAN devices. The WATCHMAN is a novel one-time treatment for patients with atrial fibrillation to reduce their lifetime risk of stroke.

At the Arrhythmia Center at Columbia Heart Clinic, we pride ourselves in providing the most current and cutting edge technology in the world to our local community. Dr. Todd Senn MD, FACC starting implanting WATCHMAN devices in February of 2017 and was trained to perform this procedure at the Cleveland Clinic, the US News and World Report #1 ranked Heart Hospital in the nation. To date, Dr. Senn has performed more WATCHMAN procedures than anyone in the Midlands.
