Columbia Metropolitan Airport and Republic Parking System Honor Our Military

COLUMBIA, SC – December 22, 2008 – Effective Thursday, December 18, 2008 through Sunday, January 4, 2009 Columbia Metropolitan Airport and Republic Parking System, the airport’s public parking lot operator, will provide our active-duty military travelers and visitors with one day of free parking. This will apply to parking in the Airport’s Garage or in the Surface Lot. To receive the one day of free parking, individuals must either present a Military ID or be dressed in military uniform.
This gesture is being offered to honor and thank our military.
