Columbia Museum of Art Contemporaries Announce New Board Members and Executive Committee

Next generation of Museum supporters plan year of cultural and social events
COLUMBI, SC – The Contemporaries, a membership affiliate group of the Columbia Museum of Art dedicated to engaging young professionals in the arts and cultivating and leading the next generation of Museum supporters, announces the 2014-2015 board members, as well as its new executive committee. The Contemporaries board members are:

Board officers include: Haskell Kibler, President; Katy Humphries, vice president; Virginia Roach, treasurer; and Susan Wheeler, secretary.

The Contemporaries host cultural and social events for members throughout the year. The 2014-2015 calendar includes an Oktoberfest on Thursday, September 18, 2014, a joint venture lecture with The Palladium Society of Historic Columbia Foundation featuring Henry Mandell on Tuesday, February 24, 2015, the Contemporaries Black Jack Ball on Saturday, February 7, 2015, and annual Oyster Roast on Thursday, April 23, 2015.
