Columbia Relief “Packing the Bus” with Donations for Hurricane Victims – September 22

This Saturday, September 22, Columbia Relief is holding a “Pack the Bus” event in partnership with The COMET. Volunteers will be filling a COMET bus with donations for those affected by Hurricane Florence.
From 9am-12pm, the bus will be at Soda City Market, where a press conference will be held with UofSC Student Body President Taylor Wright, Central Carolina Community Foundation (CCCF) Executive Director JoAnn Turnquist, a member of Columbia City Council, and leadership of both SCGOP and SCDP.
From 12pm-2pm, the bus will be outside of the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center. CCCF is our fundraising partner and will be at the event to accept monetary donations from those who would like to give to the One SC Fund.
