County of Lexington to host ribbon cutting for Chapin Business & Technology Park at Brighton

The County of Lexington Council and Economic Development Office will host a ribbon cutting ceremony for the Chapin Business & Technology Park at Brighton on Monday, Jan. 22, 2018, at 2 p.m., at the park’s main roundabout and fountain at 301 Brighton Blvd., Chapin, SC.
Since 2012, the area surrounding the park has undergone drastic transformations that will allow the Chapin area to continue to grow prosperously.
The 220-acre park boasts an impressive 123.2 acres of developable land for businesses. Through partnerships with several consultants and contractors, the park has utilities already in place, including: on-site water, sewer, telecommunications, fiber-optic communications, electricity and natural gas.
Located near major highway and interstate systems, the park will be an economic hub for the County and the state.
Members of County of Lexington Council, as well as partnering local and state leaders and contractors, will be in attendance to celebrate the opening of the park.
