County of Lexington administrative offices to reopen for business Tuesday

County of Lexington administrative offices will be open under normal business hours on Tuesday, Sept. 12, 2017.

All of the following offices will be open:

  • County Libraries
  • Lexington County Recreations and Aging Commission Offices and Activities
  • County Judicial Facilities
  • County Administration offices
  • Lexington County Judicial Center
  • Lexington County Magistrate Courts
  • Lexington County Landfill & Solid Waste Administrative Offices
  • State Government Offices located in Lexington County

 

Bond Court:

Bond court will operate under normal business hours.

 

Jury Duty:

All jurors scheduled to report for jury duty at the Marc H. Westbrook Judicial Center on Monday, Sept. 11, 2017, are asked to report on Tuesday, Sept. 12, 2017.

Jurors are asked to report to the judicial center, located at 205 E. Main Street, Lexington, SC, at 9 a.m.

Jurors are also asked to call (803) 785-8420, or (803) 785-2296, after 6:30 p.m. Monday for further delay information, or cancellation, to jury service.

 

Curbside Solid Waste Collection:

Curbside collections that were not picked up on Monday will resume Tuesday. All other curbside collection days will be delayed for one day from normal pickup days. County collection and recycling centers will be closed Tuesday and Thursday, which is their standard operating schedule. The Edmund Landfill will be open for normal business.
