Countybank successfully completes swipe to donate campaign

Countybank announced that it has successfully completed its third annual swipe to donate campaign that occurred throughout December 2022.
“We could not be more thankful to our customers for consistently using their debit cards during the holiday season to help us reach our goal,” said R. Thornwell Dunlap III, President and CEO of Countybank. “These funds will aid in the ongoing activities and operations of Upstate organizations as we enter 2023. We are honored to have the means to contribute to these great causes.”
The campaign kicked off on December 1 and continued through the end of the month. Through this campaign the bank was able to reach its goal and donate more than $150,000 in 2022 to local non-profit and charitable organizations that the Countybank Foundation supports. These included:
- Boys and Girls Club of the Lakelands Region
- United Way
- Soup kitchens across the Upstate
- Pathway House
- Pendleton Place Youth Resource Center
- Anderson Interfaith Ministries
- Greer Partnership for Tomorrow
- And many more
