Cowboy Alert in Laurens

If you see some cowboys and cowgirls walking around Laurens this weekend don’t be surprised.
No, it’s not Halloween.
The SC State Cowboy Action Shooting Championship event is being held at Belton Gun Club Thursday – Saturday (April 7-10). There are cowboy action shooters from 11+ states coming to participate! According to our Buzz sources, at least nine of them are staying in the Laurens downtown or nearby area in Airbnbs.
The event is open to the public – eye and ear protection is necessary and can be provided for those who need it. Southern Smoke BBQ will be serving food, Front Porch Churn will have homemade ice cream and Blade & Bull Axe throwing will be there. Sounds like a fun event if you are looking for something to do.
