Crawford Strategy adds Cody Sargent as executive communications liaison

Crawford Strategy, a full-service marketing, brand development, public relations and digital media agency, welcomes Cody Sargent as the executive communications liaison and assistant to president and CEO, Marion Crawford. As an experienced marketing and communications professional, Sargent will play a critical support role for the company. In addition to providing administrative and communication support for Crawford, Sargent will use his graphic design skills for special projects and manage the agency’s online presence.
“Efficient, effective and accurate communication is vital in our line of work,” says Crawford. “Cody will be an excellent asset to help ensure that the Crawford Strategy brand is clearly and consistently represented.”
Previously, Sargent worked as an account support manager, overseeing the brand management and campaign production for one of the fastest growing craft distillery groups in the nation, Brass Ring Spirit Brands. There he improved communication methods for regional managers to help them better establish and maintain relationships with consumers and account managers. He also helped craft marketing strategies for the company’s wide range of products.
While obtaining his political science degree at Clemson University, Sargent assisted the communications coordinator of the division of student affairs, handling all forms of communication from speech writing to social media management. He later worked for the university’s Center for Visual Arts as a marketing and public relations assistant, performing a dynamic hybrid of graphic design, writing, brand management, email marketing, social media strategy and media relations.

Sargent resides in Greenville, and in his spare time enjoys being a member of the Board of Directors for the Miss Clemson Scholarship Organization, and cheering for the Clemson Tigers in Death Valley.
