Crawford Strategy Welcomes Five New Interns

GREENVILLE, SC – February 10, 2011 – Crawford Strategy is pleased to welcome five interns to its team. Virginia Offerle, Sara McGee, Maddie Blair, Grace Herlong, and Samantha Miller will join the firm for the Spring 2011 academic semester. Interns are provided opportunities to learn about the marketing and public relations industry, and gain experience through involvement in various marketing and PR projects.
Blair (pictured right), originally from Champaign, Illinois, is asenior at Clemson University where she is a Communication Studiesmajor. Blair will primarily be working with the media relations team,focusing primarily on the development of strategic media plans.
Offerle (pictured above), a Greenville native, is a senior at Clemson University majoring in Communication Studies. She previously interned at the Clemson University Outdoor Lab, focusing on public relations and marketing. Offerle will work with the marketing and client services department.
McGee (pictured above) is a junior Communication Studies student at Clemson University from Greenwood, South Carolina. She held a previous internship at Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure organization and is the current Southern Proper brand ambassador for Clemson University. McGee will work with Crawford Strategy’s marketing and client services department.
Herlong (pictured above), a Greenville native, comes to Crawford Strategy after previous internships at the Riley Institute at Furman University and the Greenville County Council. A senior Political Science major at Furman University, Herlong will primarily assist with client event planning.
Miller (pictured above), a sophomore studying Marketing at Greenville Technical College, brings previous experience from an internship with Maggie’s School, as well as volunteer work with Euphoria, a local food and wine festival. She will work with the marketing and client services department.
