Crawford Strategy welcomes four undergraduate interns

GREENVILLE, SC – Crawford Strategy, a full-service marketing, brand development, public relations, and digital media company, welcomes four undergraduate interns for the summer of 2014.
Crawford operates a year-round internship program for current students and recent graduates from area colleges and universities. The interns will work alongside Crawford Strategy employees on public relations, marketing and event planning projects.
“These young professionals are the next generation of our workforce, so it’s exciting to guide them toward their future goals,” said Marion Crawford, company president and CEO. “We strive to make our internship program valuable for the participants and for Crawford Strategy. The summer undergraduate intern class includes Topper Carsten, Elizabeth Hughes, Katie Peden, and Isabel Posada.
Carsten will serve as a marketing intern at Crawford Strategy. He is a rising senior at Wofford College majoring in business economics with a minor in history. The Greenville native plans to pursue a career in marketing.
Hughes will focus on event planning. She is a rising senior at Wofford College majoring in accounting with a minor in business. Hughes grew up in Greenville and previously interned at Hughes Agency. Her future goals are to become an entrepreneur.
Peden will also serve as a marketing intern along with Carsten. She is a rising senior at Clemson University and is majoring in marketing with a minor in psychology. Peden is from Cameron, S.C., and previously interned at Morgan Stanley in Columbia, S.C.
Posada will specialize in public relations while at Crawford Strategy. The Easley native is a student at the University of South Carolina. She is majoring in public relations with a minor in health promotion, education and behavior. The rising junior hopes to use her public relations background in the medical field but is happy to excel in any public relations career. She has previous internship experience in communications.
