CREW Midlands to host USC Campus Development Foundation update featuring university leaders

August 25, 2025

CREW Midlands will host its September Lunch Program at Segra Park, bringing together industry professionals, members, and students for an exclusive update on major development projects shaping the University of South Carolina.

The program will feature Hunter Lambert, Director of Real Estate for the USC Development Foundation, and Derek Gruner, University Architect for the University of South Carolina, who will share insights on recently completed, ongoing, and future projects across the university’s campus. Attendees will hear details on completed projects such as Gateway 737, a new mixed-use development owned by the Foundation, as well as progress on the new Health Sciences Campus. The speakers will also provide a forward-looking perspective on upcoming initiatives, including developments along South Main Street and renovations to Williams-Brice Stadium.

The lunch program will take place on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Segra Park, located at 1640 Freed Street in Columbia. Registration is available online, with tickets priced at $25 for CREW members, $40 for non-members, and $15 for students.
