Cricket Match to benefit the Family Shelter

COLUMBIA, SC – Aprl 9, 2009 – The Family Shelter is a non-profit agency that provides emergency shelter and supportive services to homeless families with children. Since last year, there has been a tremendous increase in families seeking our help and it is regretful that we were not able to serve everyone.
This year, our 30th Anniversary Year, our goal is to increase our capacity to help families by raising funds locally and promoting the shelter’s programs throughout the Midlands.
As part of our 30th Anniversary Celebrations, we are planning a Cricket Match between the Richland County and Lexington County teams.
